Whether you’re preparing to become a therapy dog team or already making visits, this 6-week class will help you build practical, real-world skills. With CGC as a prerequisite, we’ll review CGC and CGCA skills, therapy dog test items from the Southern Wisconsin Canine Therapy Dog Association, and plenty of fun, out-of-the-box scenarios designed to prepare teams for the unexpected. We’ll work on confidence, appropriate interactions, settling, navigating distractions, and handling the unique situations that can come up during therapy visits. This class is recurring and can be taken multiple times.
